Grade 6
1. Country reports are due Monday.
2. We are beginning chapter 12 , Verbs, in English.
3. We will begin a unit on Poetry this week.

Grade 7
1. We will finish the chapter on Punctuation and Capitalization this week. The test will be next week.
2. We will begin a unit on Drama this week.
3. Book Club will meet next week, March 16.

Grade 8
1. Vocabulary test this Friday, March 12.
2. We will begin reading the play version of "The Diary of Anne Frank" this week.
3. We will have an in-school research period on Thursday this week. Each student will need to bring a package of index cards, as well as any books, magazines, or other materials that they have borrowed from the library for their research topics. They will need to visit the library before that day, if they have not done so yet. Source cards and note cards are due on Wednesday, March 17, so all research must be done before that day.
4. Book Club will meet next Tuesday, March 16.
5. The next English test will be on March 16, after Book Club.
